THE GREAT TRAIN SCAVENGER HUNT
Many enjoyed the Train Scavenger Hunt ! Erica Bryant , a reporter for the Democrat and Chronicle in Rochester, New York, has visited the Edgerton Model Railroad Club’s layouts with her family. She created a train scavenger hunt in cooperation with our club and the Democrat and Chronicle. Her article was published on Saturday, December 17 in the Democrat and Chronicle. The four age categories in the contest were: 4 and younger, 4 to 12 years old, 12 to 20 years old and 21 and older. Visitors picked up a form as they entered the layouts and found the items on the form. There was a treat for all who entered as well as a grand prize drawing. The contest ran throughout all of our holiday hours for 2011.
We want to thank the community for its tremendous support during the holiday season. We had 3,514 visitors during the holidays! The winners of the scavenger hunt contest were drawn on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Here are our WINNERS:
